ピアノ

　岐阜市生まれ。2002年ドロシー・マッケンジー・コンクール(in NY)にて第1位受賞後、カーネギーホールのワイルリサイタルホールにてチャリティー・コンサートに出演。その後も2004年、第9回エトリンゲン国際コ ンクールにてファイナリスト、奨励賞、及びハイドン賞を受賞、2006年、第16回カラブリア国際ピアノ・コンクールで第5位、2009年にはフランスで 行なわれた Lagny sur Marne 国際ピアノ・コンクールで第3位受賞など、数々の国際コンクールで賞を得る。2006年より国内外でコンサート活動を本格的に開始し、同年、日本でアンサンブル・ シュテルンとモーツァルト協奏曲を共演、その後行なったデビュー・リサイタル「Dance」の様子は産経新聞で大きく取り上げられ好評を博した。その他カ ナダ、イギリス、オーストリア、リトアニア、インド各国でコンサートを開催し、近年ではドビュッシーの演奏に特に評価を得ている。
　2003年東京音楽大学付属高校卒業後、2004年より奨学金を得て英国王立音楽院に入学、2008年同学院首席で卒業。2010年に同大学院を卒業。 在学中同学院より Liversedge Award, Francis Simms Prize、Greta GM Parkinson Prize、Norah Seary Charitable Trust Award 他、数々の賞を受賞した。2011年マリア・カナルス国際コンクール・ディプロマ賞受賞。
これまでにピアノを中島卓郎、勝谷壽子、倉沢仁子、播本枝未子、御木本澄子、クリストファー・エルトン、ヘーミッシュ・ミル ン、ロイ・ハワットの各氏に、室内楽をクリフォード・ベンソン、マイケル・デュセックの各氏に師事。イギリスでの勉強にあたりNPO法人イエローエンジェル、 The William Barry Trust、Martin Musical Scholarship Fundより奨学金を受ける。
　イギリスでは、イギリス内での教育プログラムにも数多く携わり、LRAM取得（教職免許）と合わせ、幼稚園、小学校での音楽ワークショップなど幅広く教育活動に携わった。またマリア・カナルス国際コンクールではパルセロナにおけるマスタークラスの講師に選任された。
　2010年7月より日本に帰国し、現在は演奏活動の他、渋谷ステュディオで後進の指導にあたっている。

Born in 1984, a Japanese pianist Yukino Kano began playing the piano at the age of six. She has awarded the 3rd prize in the Lagny sur Marne International Piano Competition in France in 2009.
In 2002, she won the Prize in the ‘Dorothy MacKenzie Piano Competition’ in New York. Soon after that she performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall) with other distinguished pianists. In 2004 she went on to become one of the finalists at the Ettlingen Piano Competition and received the Haydn Prize and the Encouragement Award. In May 2006, she won the 5th Prize at the Calabria International Piano Competition in Italy and performed with the Mihail Jora Symphony Orchestra.                
Yukino made her concerto debut in Tokyo in 2005 and performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto K.414 with Ensemble Stern and the following year she made her solo debut, also in Tokyo. She has performed in many countries such as U.K. (performances include Colston Hall and St.Martin-in-the-Fields), Austria (Salzburg Palace), Lithuania, U.S., India and Japan including the solo works and chamber music. In this year 2008, she performed in the festivals which include Schubert Festival and Messiaen Festival (organized by SouthBank Centre), also gave the All Debussy Recitals in Tokyo and Nagoya.
She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with first class honours in 2008 and finished her study at the Academy on the Masters course. She has been awarded several prizes at the Academy such as the Liversedge award, the Francis Simms Prize, the Greta GM Parkinson Prize and the Norah Seary Charitable Trust Award. She is generally supported by the William Barry Trust and Yellow Angel Foundation to study in London.
She has involved the several music workshops at schools in U.K., such as attending at the schools and Glyndebourne Opera House
Yukino currently lives in Japan and giving her performances in solos and chamber music. She has also started to teach piano at Shibuya Studio in Tokyo.
